Kay Shioma Metchie - Actor, Writer, Director
Kay Shioma Metchie is a writer, director, and actor born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She’s worked in the Vancouver Film Industry for over 10 years, starting as a Script Supervisor before becoming a Supervising Producer and eventually moving into writing and directing. She worked as a writer on the second season of a “Sight Unseen” a Bell/CTV Canadian series as well as in the development room for the second season of the CWs “Wild Cards”. Her award-winning short film, Weeds Are Flowers, Too, was part of the 2022 Crazy8s Film Festival, and has played across North America in Whistler, New York, and Texas, just to name a few.
